It provides a transformative Teacher Training experience based on total health orientation, with the help of daily yoga classes especially Yoga Teacher training and retreat. It allows the guests to listen to their bodies and learn to release the tension and stress and can attend the specialist retreat programs on an individual or group basis.

We also offer Yoga teachers, professionals and gurus, the opportunity to provide organised retreats, workshops and Yoga Teacher Training courses at our GOA wellbeing centre.

Isthaa Goa, in its Exquisite health farm, Organizes different kind of Ayur and Yoga Retreats in Collaboration with different groups. These Yoga Ayurveda retreats helps one to attain full Relaxation and Understanding of the meaning of LIFE and start valuing the LIFE OF OTHERS AS WELL.

200 HOUR PROGRAM - CURRICULUM

We have redefined a curriculum as per the international standards of Yoga Alliance USA & UK coupled with our own expertise in the field of yoga.

The prime objective is to prepare the future teachers physically and spiritually ready to practice and teach by themselves. We will lay down the foundations to become a successful and well-rounded yoga teacher.

The main areas that we cover in our program will be will be classified in 5 modules: Yoga teaching techniques, teaching Methodology and Yogic Lifestyle, Philosophy, Anatomy and physiology, and Practice.

There will be a total of 180 contact hours during the 3 weeks program. Before the training start every student has to submit 2 assignments consisting in summaries of reading materials and submitting an article. There will be consider as 20 non-contact hours. (more info about this assignments after registering in the course)

Karma yoga:

Karma yoga is the practice of selfless service which helps guests to feel part of the ashram. You are expected to do up to one hour of selfless service per day within ashram.

Brunch/Dinner:

Simple sattvic vegetarian food is provided freely for all students. The food menu is standardized and students will be provided with 3 meals every day. The food served is mainly fruits, vegetable, cereals rice and nutritional keeping in mind the requirements of the student’s yoga sadhana and Sunday is excluded. All meals will be served in the Dining Hall only and students will not be allowed to eat in the rooms.

Travel:

Visa and International travelling arrangements, local transport should be done by students itself, but if you needed any assistance our authorized travel agent Travel plus from Delhi will be available for your service. Contact us for more details. Pick up and drop facility from the airport to Isthaa Yoga Shala will be arranged for the students on additional charges. For local travel needs, a Travel desk facility will be made available at the reception.

Accommodation:

Isthaa Yoga training has two spacious Yoga Salas for practical and Theory. Also a massage room and sitting area and dining area. There is 24×7 wifi connection (It may not be very regular or speedy as in the west),a small library to expand your mind, hammocks strung between coconut trees to let your body relax and mind wander, not to mention all the Goan sunshine and fresh air to revive and rejuvenate you as you immerse deeply into the practice of Yoga.
Your safety is on top of our minds so this Yoga Teacher Training is completely secured with security personnel and the whole Training is built in a manner that it offers a lot of privacy. Therefore, be at ease always, wear whatever you feel like, and be yourself.

Registration and making donation:

You can directly contact us to register and make course donation or you can also transfer the 50% of the course donation to our Foundation bank acount to confirm your registration (please contact us for bank details) and please do inform us through email or phone after transferring the course donation (our mobile- 0091-8951983661).

Important Note:

Dates and donations are subject to change without notice. To maintain the spiritual atmosphere, we ask all Gurukula guests to comply with the gurukula rules. Kindly refer to the Gurukula rules and guidelines for more information. The gurukula reserves the right of admission and students may be asked to leave if their behaviour goes against the gurukula rules and teachings.

Refund Policy:

If you cancel your registration before the start of the course, we will refund your original payment less an administration fee of €300 for Overseas student and Rs.10000 for Indian students.
For a no show, no refund will be issued.
Students leaving the course before completion are required to return all teaching materials and uniforms.

What to bring:

Comfortable clothes, blanket, sandals, toiletries, personal items, meditation shawl for cool evenings, yoga asana mat, meditation cushion, notebooks, pens, towels and a torch.Uniforms and a TTC Manual are included in the course donation.
Passport/Visa:
